Top Chef Canada 2: The champ

It's Carl!!!

So happy, I was rooting for this 27-year-old cutie from the beginning, especially given that he is former executive chef at Toronto's amazing farm to table fresh Marben!

Should have known earlier when Toronto Life reported he had left Marben to open a new resto... given that he now has the $100,000 prize to do so.

And now The Star reports that his new venture will be right in the heart of downtown at Yonge and Richmond (which could use a little gourmet revamp). The Richmond Station will apparently open later this summer, with mains priced around $25. Can't wait to check it out and review!
