Foodie features at the CNE: Hint, it's a lot of bacon.

So, the CNE this year aims to prove the bacon everything trend is far from over, the Toronto Star informs us.

Every year the CNE tries to appeal to the food-curious with some outrageously calorie ridden delight---last year it was deep fried butter.

And this year if you didn't think the deep-fried Mars bar, or a red velvet funnel cake are not indulgent enough--- there's bacon!
Also, apparently,  "the Nutella BBBLT with eight strips of bacon, two pieces of back bacon, lettuce, tomato and Nutella."

Um ya don't think I could do that, though I have had both bacon cupcakes and bacon caramel cookies, which were surprisingly good!

The other cool thing this year is the addition of my favourite---food trucks! A food truck frenzy in fact. C'mon Toronto let's finally jump on this food wagon!

Oh, there's also raw food, if you're not fun healthy, or vegan.
