So the Toronto Star's  Dish column, which has already condemned many of my faves from Pho to Pad Thai, now sentences my beloved cupcakes to the same fate. And it chose my favourite place, within a stone's throw and a longing window glare from my desk.


Prairie Girl Bakery whips up possibly the best cupcakes I've ever had. So moist and just the right amount of icing. Too bad the chocolate ones have a whopping 678 calories. Actually I do not care. And consciously indulged in a chocolate banana variation after reading this post because it made me crave one! I have an obsession. Damn, I want one right now!
